How to Earn RSNC
RSNC rewards are earned through genuine, quality engagement in your community. The system is designed to reward meaningful contributions -- not message farming.
What Gets Rewarded
Quality Messages
Write thoughtful messages that contribute to the conversation. The bot evaluates every message for quality before deciding whether to reward it.
Messages that earn rewards:
- Answering someone's question with helpful information
- Sharing your perspective on a topic being discussed
- Asking a thoughtful question that sparks conversation
- Providing feedback, suggestions, or insights
- Sharing relevant links or resources with context
Messages that don't earn rewards:
- "gm" / "I agree" / "nice" (too short)
- Repeating what someone else just said
- Posting the same message across multiple channels
- Talking to yourself when no one else is around
- Generic filler like "today is going to be great"
- Copy-pasting the same idea with minor rewording
GM/GN Check-ins
Say "gm", "good morning", "gn", or "good night" once per day to earn a daily check-in reward.
Streaks
Earn rewards consistently and your streak grows. Higher streaks unlock:
- Multipliers -- Your rewards increase (e.g., 7-day streak = 1.25x)
- Milestone bonuses -- Hit 7, 30, 100, or 365 days for bonus RSNC
Social Sharing
Share relevant social media links in designated channels.
Reactions
Some servers reward posts that receive many reactions from other community members.
On-Chain Activity
Interact with partner smart contracts (minting, trading, staking) to earn additional rewards.
How Quality Scoring Works
Each message gets a quality score from 0 to 100, based on:
| What Helps | Why |
|---|---|
| Longer, detailed messages | Shows thoughtful engagement |
| Varied vocabulary | Proves you're not copy-pasting |
| Multiple sentences | Indicates structured thinking |
| Asking questions | Drives conversation |
| Replying to others | Shows you're participating, not broadcasting |
| Sharing links | Contributing resources |
| What Hurts | Why |
|---|---|
| Echoing what someone just said | Low-value repetition |
| Repeating yourself | Each message should be unique |
| Generic phrases | "Keep up the great work" adds nothing |
| Posting the same thing in multiple channels | Quantity over quality |
Tips for Earning More
-
Reply to people -- Conversations are more valuable than monologues. When you reply to someone else's message, your quality score gets a bonus.
-
Be specific -- "Great project" earns nothing. "The new staking feature is interesting because it lets smaller holders participate without high minimums" earns rewards.
-
Ask questions -- Genuine questions drive conversations and score higher.
-
Don't rush -- Posting 10 short messages is worth less than 3 thoughtful ones. There's a rate limit (5 rewarded messages per 10 minutes).
-
Mix it up -- If your messages all sound the same, the similarity detector catches it. Talk about different topics, respond to different people.
-
Don't farm -- The system detects farming patterns (rapid posting, copy-paste, talking to yourself). Focus on genuine participation.
Check Your Score
Run /analyze to see how your messages are scoring:
/analyze
You'll see:
- Your quality grade (Excellent / Good / Needs Work / Poor)
- Pass rate (what percentage of your messages earn rewards)
- Specific tips for improving based on your rejection patterns
Check Your Balance
/balance
Shows:
- Lifetime Earned -- Total RSNC earned across all activity
- Earned from [server] -- RSNC earned in this specific community
- Current Balance -- What's in your wallet right now
Check Your Streak
/streak view
Shows your current streak, longest streak, and multiplier. Streaks reset after the grace period (typically 36 hours) -- so don't miss a day!
Check Your Milestones
/milestones
Shows progress toward milestone rewards (7-day, 30-day, 100-day, 365-day streaks and other criteria set by the server admin).
Check Your Cooldowns
/cooldowns
Shows when you can next earn from each event type. Most events have cooldowns to prevent spamming.
Common Questions
"Why didn't my message earn a reward?"
Run /analyze to see your quality scores. Common reasons:
- Too short -- Messages under the minimum character/word count
- Low quality score -- Not enough substance (short, generic, repetitive)
- Self-repeat -- Too similar to your own recent messages
- Cross-user echo -- Too similar to what someone else just said
- Cooldown -- You earned too recently, wait for the cooldown
- Daily limit -- You've hit the maximum rewards for this event today
"My balance shows 0 but I've been earning?"
Your RSNC may be on a different wallet. If you use the perks portal AND Discord, make sure your accounts are linked:
- Go to the perks portal
- Link your Discord account in settings
- Your balances will consolidate
"How do I link my Discord to the perks portal?"
Use the /link command in Discord or connect Discord from the perks portal settings page.
